LF-DLS DISINFECTING LIGHT SYSTEM

The light of the UVC-LEDs kills the bacteria when exposed to the surface. The bacterial balance is maintained by the microbial strain of unlit surfaces.

The device detects motion. The motion interrupts the UVC disinfection and continues after a predetermined time after the movement is over. During motion detection, the disinfection program cannot be started.

The LF-DLS is placed in the disinfected space. Device contains the control unit and required number of double light units. The system consists of a touch screen display, LED control unit and dual lights. The device also functions as a standard adjustable lamp.

RESEARCH FINDINGS

The logarithmic reduction of Escherichia coli (cfu/cm2) on the front surface of the mobile device (A=44.5 cm2) due to the impact of the UV Led during 30 minutes.

The average impact of the drainage was subtracted from the reductions. Figure 1. The impact of the UV-Led treatment on E. coli on the front and back surface of the phone. The maximum logarithmic reduction on the front side 3.3 and on the back side 4.4.
